Bombers over the Phillippines

I just signed up to a Dystopian Wars escalation campaign with a bunch of local D-Wars players.  Bombers over the Philippines written by Mr D6G Craig Gallant will have us all waring over the above map with sea, air and land forces.  It's a casual paced campaign which really suits me.

First mission is recon.  400 pts.  I am thinking about throwing in a Battleship, two Cruisers, and eight frigates with 6 squadrons of tiny flyer's as air support.  Any suggestions welcome.

Don't know too much about the game but would love to have a go on a campaign.

The map looks very interesting, plenty of places to hide a large fleet of ships.

How is Dystopian Wars? When my Flames of War is finished (hopefully within a few weeks, the guy doing the assembly for me has a wife recovering from surgery so he's taking care of their 7 year old) I'm thinking about picking up Dystopian Wars (sea, not land) as my third, and final, main game. The models look great, the fluff seems interesting, but the price has been holding me back.

It's the first in a series of play throughs explaining the rules.

This sounds very cool! Can you share how the campaign system works? I'd like to do something like this to give some meaning to the games we're playing.

Hi Curt. If you can leave a hotmail address, or something like that, I can email you the campaign pack.

Thanks! You can get my email by clicking on my Google profile. I just posted some British Dystopian Wars stuff on my blog. Just the Prussians and Americans to go...

Any chance you can send along your campaign rules/packet? I believe you can send it via this google account. Thank you!
