Wow...could have been my father I was watching there. He was a flamethrower attached with the 4th Marine Raiders at Guadacanal and Iwo Jima and was there when the flag went up.
Captain Richard, My grandfather was on Labuan Island and Borneo where the colour footage of the Aussies was taken. I could be watching him but I will never know.
